The negatives of working at a Kmart. This isn't one of my best works, but it's up first.
I work for money,
This is not my dream job,
So do not think that your problems are why I work here,
At this godforsaken Kmart,

Being a cashier doesn’t make me your slave,
If my light is off, I’m not open,
And when you come through my line with more than ten items, and they’re all clothes,
Trust me, I’m not in the mood to talk,

If you forget your money
That is not my problem,
And no, I will not wait with your items while you run home,
Cause you’ll “be right back”
More than likely, you’ll go sit on your ass and watch TV,

Don’t ask me to go look when I just called for a price check,
And if you have to ask for more than one, don't try blaming the store,
It's your own damn fault,
For God’s sake open your eyes and read the fucking signs,
If it doesn’t say the product you want
We won’t change the sale to suit you

We are not Burger King,
You cannot have it your way

So don’t scream and yell when you don’t like something,
That’s what a manager is for,
I don’t get paid enough to take all your shit,

When your amount totals over a hundred,
Don’t try to blame me,
Show some fucking self-restraint,
We do have sales,

And when you try to steal something,
Don’t be so obvious as to use a suitcase,
We do have to unzip every zipper,
And check every pocket,
No, we do not make exceptions,

We are not Burger King,
You cannot Have It Your Way.
