this was my dream last night
A day of fun, no rain, no clouds, the perfect sun,
We climbed down the rocks to gather one by one,
We raced down the cliff, they gained but I won
Our wonderful day has simply just begun

We make our way to a path
"Look, a house! That's not so bad
A place to spend the day with my comrades
It smelled old and feeling that made me sad

The day passes and night falls
A noise crashes, the sound of something being mauled
A scuffle as what's half dead begins to crawl
He wheeze and the other begins to roar
All these noises I hear through the walls

I see a man buried up to his head in dirt
I see a young boy thrown to ground and hurt
A man turned beast and the boy to quench his thirst
Eating his flesh, this man is mad, he is cursed
I feel helpless, a bird trapped in it's perch

There are more than one, I see shadows
They swarm the house like a town to the gallows
I fear no exit, I can jump but the water is too shallow
I see my friends turning, they have already lost the battle
The door window, I see many and the door knob rattles
