Various things that I really dislike in my life right now.
Gaiaonline & Livejournal: For people who don't know what these sites are gaia is a role playing community and LJ is a blogging community. I like both of these sites, but why is it that every single time I make a mistake on either one, the people merely point out that I made a mistake, not just one person telling how to fix it, but everyone, and not one of them will mention the answer. All I ever get is "You made a mistake" or "There's something wrong with your post." or something else like that., and then they act like their superior in every way. And its little mistakes too: like one time I messed up the formatting on a post on live journal. and another time when I meant to put 500, but mistyped and put 50 on gaia. Another thing about Gaia that I hate is their writer's forum, all there is to it is a bunch of elitists flaming newbies for posting in the wrong forum, or criticizing popular authors for their writing, Stephanie Meyer being the most criticized on gaia because she wrote a book about vampires, which are really popular amongst gaian writers, but every author from Stephen King to Shakespeare to J,K. Rowling are apparently only popular thanks to advertising, not because they wrote good books.

Clothes Shopping: I'm the type of person who hates shopping, especially for clothes, but its back to school time and that means trying on 200 different shirts and a 100 pair of pants. I don't get why I even have to go. My mom knows what I like, pants and shirts with no pink or yellow. Instead of just accepting that she goes and buys a shirt with hearts on it and expects me to be all happy about it. This year she just gave my cousin a $100 and told her to take me shopping. It was horrible, everything she picked out too small for me.

I'm Spoiled: I do not understand how I am the most spoiled out of My brother and me, but apparently I am, after all I have more stuff than him and spend more time with my mom.  I go to work with my mom, and she drives, so I do spend more time with my mom than my brother does, and when I go to work with my mom I get money, not even a lot of money, my mom runs a cleaning business, so i go clean with her sometimes, that's the only extra money I get. I don't get all these freebies like my brother does, he never goes to work with my mom and yet he gets expensive video games and such, where I can only afford a book with the money I make.  Not to mention I'm the one with more chores, my brother's chores include taking out the trash and feed and water the dog. My chore includes cleaning the entire kitchen, and even if my chores are done and my brother's aren't, I'm the one who gets the lecture about the house not being clean. So I don't see how I ever got the I'm the more spoiled label.

My Music: Why does it appear that I'm the only person in my family who like rock and pop, my brother and mother both like rap/hip-hop, and so do I, but that's all they ever want to listen to.  It's so annoying, the only bands my mom and me can agree on is Nickelback, Kid Rock, and some country music.

anime/manga: This is not a rant about anime and manga in general, but more about people who don't understand it. Every time I bring up the subject of anime or manga, they'll say that they've grown out of that kid stuff or should you really be reading that sort of thing. I don't know a lot of adults who would allow their five year olds to watch the Rurouni Kenshin OVAs or even know what Rurouni Kenshin is in the first place.

Subbed Vs. Dubbed Debate: This mainly ties into anime: some people will consider you a true fan of an anime if they discover that you like the dubbed version of a series, even if that series is set in England, they'll still hate a series with English voice acting in it, saying that it just doesn't seem right for people in England to speak English or people in Germany to speak German.

I think that's enough and just to let people know, I do not normally rant like that, and yes I'm young enough that I still live at home with my mom.
