An essay of my thoughts on reviewing.
While I am the first to tout my abilities as a writer, I must bring a point to the attention of my fellow wordcrafters.
Doubtless many of my kind reviewers have wondered briefly why I never seem to give 5 stars for a review. Frankly, it's because noone is perfect, myself least of all.

I can always be better....or worse

In the first stanza of the above piece, I express succinctly why I never give five stars, and also why I would rather you, my beloved readers, not give me five stars. Five stars indicates perfection, and perfect, my friends, we ain't. If we were, we wouldn't all congregate here on WDC to ask for input and guidance!
I have often wished that there were a 4.99 star rating for reviews, because there have been many pieces that were so excellent, I would use it. But I can't bring myself to give five stars, because, to reiterate, five stars indicates perfection...and God doesn't write in words. *Wink*
