She was 30years old but still a romantic at heart.
Today, I woke up with a smile on my face. I looked at the window and I see a whole new day ahead of me. And as I get ready for my flight, I can feel that today is going to be a great day. For today, I am going to have my dreams come true.

It all started when my editor told me that I was to go on a trip outside the city and do an article on the annual tribal festival that was to happen over the weekend. He also said that a photographer requested to go with me. I distinctly remember that I held my breath for what felt like an eternity. And then he told me who the photographer is.

I always notice him in the hallway. Him going to the newsroom and I going to my desk at the Editorial room. Separate directions right? But we always cross paths. And we always smile at each other.

Anyway, when the boss told me that he was coming, my suspicions were confirmed. He was deliberately crossing paths with me. So even though I have been to thousands of festivals and I have done hundreds of articles, I am particularly excited about this one.

As I arrive at the meeting place, I am getting goosebumps. The good kind. Anticipation is racing through my heart. Possibilities are racing through my brain. And I can't seem to stand still.

Finally, he is here. He smiled. I smiled back. Smiles all around. Then it's time to leave. He doesn't talk a lot. But when I ask something he answers politely. He is very polite. And a gentleman. He opened the car door for me. He let me go first onto the plane. He also made conversation in the plane. I found out that we both like Jonathan Kellerman. He told me how he started as a photographer. I told him that I'm a frustrated photographer. He said that it's quite easy and that he can teach me sometime. I was tingling all the way to my toes.

Okay. So maybe I was being a starry-eyed adolescent but at 30 years old, I still haven't found the one. I am getting quite impatient of waiting.

At the festival, we went straight to the center of it all: the church. We worked melodically. He took pictures and I took notes. All the while, we just kept on smiling whenever our eyes met.
