EPISODE NINE
THE BATTLE FOR THE BRIDGE PART 1

Aaron, Twimby and Charleston stand in front of their jeep facing Cracker, Eddy, Stevenson and Blake.

AARON
"Federation marines, Move aside now or we will be forced to use...force."

CHARLESTON
(Mutters)
"Oh, you worded that well...dipshit."

CRACKER
"Is that the best you can do, Trivial?"

AARON
"No! Move aside or we will shoot!"

STEVENSON
(Faintly & Sarcastically)
"Oh, I'm scared."

TWIMBY
"Oh, I got one, Sarge!"

AARON
"Go ahead."

TWIMBY
"Move aside or we will fire at you!"

AARON
"Are you serious? That's almost what I said."

TWIMBY
"Yes, almost."

AARON
"Charleston, I'm starting to see why you get so annoyed."

CHARLESTON
"Thank you! My therapist won't call me crazy anymore."

EDDY
"We're still over here, ya know!"

CHARLESTON
"Why don't we just start shooting?"

AARON
"I think I can talk them out of keeping that bridge. I'm coming over to negotiate!"

Aaron starts approaching the Federation Bridge.

STEVENSON
"Do we shoot?"

CRACKER
"No, let's see what he has to say."

Cracker walks out and meets with Aaron in between the two factions.

CRACKER
"What do you have to say?"

AARON
"If you give up the bridge, we'll give you a shiny new thimble."

CRACKER
"Huh? A thimble? What would we want with a thimble?"

AARON
"To...thimble...stuff?"

CRACKER
"Ah, no. What else you got?"

AARON
"Hmm. How about a POW?"

CRACKER
"A prisoner of war?"

AARON
"Sure, why not?"

CRACKER
"Okay then. But we want your smartest and deadliest man, otherwise no deal."

AARON
"Okay, I'll tell the team."

Cracker and Aaron both walk back to their posts.

CRACKER
"We're getting a POW, boys."

BLAKE
"That's gnarly."

STEVENSON
"That's shit! Why do we want a POW?"

CRACKER
"Think about it! Each side in this area has four soldiers. We get one of theirs; we go to five while they go down to three! It's simple mathematics Stevenson."

EDDY
"Hey, we could also train the guy to fight for us!"

CRACKER
"Good thinking, Eddy. Remind me to promote you when we get back."

Aaron arrives back at the Trivial post.

AARON
"We can get the bridge for one POW."

TWIMBY
"What's a POW?"

CHARLESTON
"Prisoner of -"

AARON
(Shouts over the top of Charleston)
"Person of...wow-ness."

TWIMBY
"Wow, sounds pretty cool. Who is our POW?"

CHARLESTON
(Sarcastically)
"Why it's you, Twimby! You're the most important person on this team!"

TWIMBY
"I know, I don't need to be told. So what do I do?"

AARON
"Just walk over to their side, and the rest will take care of itself."

Twimby starts to walk over to the Federation post.

AARON
"Look at that. I got us the bridge and got rid of stress."

CHARLESTON
"Genius."

Just before Twimby arrives at the Federation post, a rocket out of nowhere hits Blake's jeep, sending it and Blake flying through the air.

CRACKER
"Holy shit!"

STEVENSON
"Blake!"

EDDY
"What do we do?"

CRACKER
"Capture the prisoner!"

As Eddy runs to get Twimby, Epps arrives at the Trivial post with a rocket launcher.

EPPS
"That should get things moving. Charge!"

Epps runs off towards the Federation post. Charleston and Aaron watch him.

CHARLESTON
"What do we do?"

AARON
"I think by law we have to follow him."

CHARLESTON
"Okay."

CHARLESTON & AARON
"Charge!"
