Wanted: Goat

There's nothing Annie wouldn't do for a dime
no matter the task, no matter the crime
from picking flowers to selling fish
nothing would stop Annie from fulfulling her wish.

She once saved a goat, screaming in pain
saved him by untangling him from his chains
was able to outrun the thief for he was fat
and headed to the zoo, no question in that.

Once there, Annie headed forward-way past the monkeys
she handed the goat to the guard next to the donkey
disappointed she made her way home in her skates
until she finally received her reward (a dime) at the gate.
