War

Since the dawn of man,
We have fought for our land.
Peace and tranquility is what we command.
Our country is build to withstand,
But we hope with all we can,
To do what is right when in demand.
Men and women fight for us to stand.
We first must walk hand in hand,
and together we band.
If we don't fight back all is lost.
Some pay with the highest of costs.
Soldiers still guard our posts,
And the president sits back and boasts,
While enemies continue to enter our coast.
Remember the towers that crumbled and collapsed?
Loved ones simply burned to ash.
Several people tried to dash,
But didn't make it before it all crashed.
Others jumped from afar,
Just to land on someones car.
All ones mouth can do is stand ajar,
While people repeatively hit the tar.
Bodies are scattered everywhere,
The pain is too much to bear.
Why is that no one seems to care,
How the terrorists origionally got there?
Think of those who lost their lives,
While trying to save those inside.
Remember the heroes on those planes,
They all had faces, they all had names.
The pentagon smoldered and burned,
There is a lesson to be learned.
The main thing is not to show fear,
And help the ones who are still here.
The families of loved ones who've passed,
Are still affected in a large mass.
Hopefully peace is around the bend,
But who knows what they'll send.
Who can predict the next attack?
Will we just sit back to wait and see?
Preparation on our part is the key,
So we won't have another 9/11 again.
More troops, more tanks, and nowhere to begin.
When will this fighting ever end?
They took over our planes,
Then blackened our lands.
All because of one psychos plan.
Please understand this:
All a child wants is a last goodbye kiss.
Every death will be mourned and missed.
And with each death there is a light,
But i don't see an end in sight.
People young and old must unite,
To defend our right,
To stand up for one last fight.
