A young boy dreams of the past.
The young boy sleeps,
And silence cries,
While watching close,
His mother dies.

She's bound and gagged,
The ropes hold tight,
She offered little,
But a fight.

He screams and cries,
No sound is made,
Through streams of tears,
The picture fades.

He's locked somewhere,
Dark as night,
A closed cold coffin,
Scratch and bite.

Drenched in sweat,
He sits up fast,
Remembering things,
Long since passed.

Nightmares come,
Embrace the fears,
Forget the past,
Erase the tears.

The boy sleeps again,
His dreams now light,
Though he'll never forget,
That fateful night.
