America?

What has hapened to our land of opportunity? I have been in the job market for almost three months with no viable prospects as of yet. We had to close our family business because the economy here is so bad that people can't afford to fix their cars. The cars that they need to get back and forth to work or to try to find work with.

All of the companies that are going over seas to "save money" are killing this great country of ours. The country that allowed them the freedom and privilages that they have, they now turn their back on. Is it really so that they can be competative and keep prices down? I say "NO". It is so that they can line their gold filled pockets with more riches.
Since these companies have moved to other countries, has the cost to us the consumers gone down? Again I say "NO".
What are these companies going to do when the majority of people in this country can not afford to purchase these goods because we have lost our jobs to corporate greed.

People who have done terrible jobs at these big companies are getting annual pay in the hundreds of thousands if not millions of dollars after they leave the company.
This is more money then alot of hard working honest Americans will make in their lifetime. Is this ok? Not in my eyes, it is a travisty. An injustice to the good , honest hardworking American people.

Politicians are in trouble because they do not have a balanced budget. They want to raise the taxes on everything or start taxing things that are not now taxed.
In my great state of Michigan, which by the way has the worst economy in the nation right now, our government wants to tax services, add more tax to gas and cigarettes and anything else that they can. We the people are trying to fight this because, quite frankly, we can't afford it!
My suggestion to our government is.......................
Please stop the companies from moving to other countries. We have to pay the same price now as we did before and the product quality is terrible. We need these jobs here at home.
We as working Americans have taken pay cuts, benefit cuts and other concessions to try to help American business. When will the corporate world and the government do the same?
A mayor in a city here wanted to pay a portion of his health care insurance, just like those who work for him. He was denied his request.

If all politicians and those in the corporate world would make some concessions of their own, it would help. I think they have forgotten where they came from and who helped them to get where they are. Whether a politician or a billionaire you got where you are from us, the the American worker who either bought your product to make you rich or who voted you into office. Us, the American worker, that you have turned your back on.
