Joy in sharing and being part of WDC

I have been writing since 9th grade but this is the 1st time or perhaps the 1st opportunity that presented itself; that I have joined a writing community! It is a blessing and a challenge at the same time! I have a history of sending work to magazines; being rejected and then becoming despondent and giving up writing or at least submitting material!
WDC encourages me to share by the quality of assurance that all writers have something worthwhile to say and by its acceptance of my value as a reader as well as a writer! As a result, I am eager to write; to read and even at some point; to dare enter contests!
WDC is certainly a great community for me and I intend to be a member as long as I can!
