A fictional tale about a post-nuclear life.
Seth's car hum's down the highway without stress. He can see people in the opposite direction stuck in the everyday traffic that builds up. Then suddenly his music stops, the rpm's drop. Cars around him seem to be slowing down as well. He pulls his car to the side and tries to turn it over. Nothing. Not even a click. Then in a panic he ducks down underneith his dash. He just remembered what happens to electronics just before a nuclear explosion. The interior of his car which is a dark gray lights up as if it was a light bulb. His windows crack and shatter. Loud popping and snapping noises come from his dash and firewall. The pop in the bottle that sat on the passenger seat begins to boil as the bottle itself begins to shink and warp eradically. He can hear people in other cars around him begin to scream. He closes his eyes and puts his hands over his ears. Trying not to think about what is happening to the people who didn't get a chance to duck and cover. Then a large gust of wind blows dirt and burnt particles into his car. A quick silence has him remove his hands from his ears. Shortly afterward another gust of wind picks car and sends it flying about 30 feet in the air. In a mangled mess, he some how survives. But his car is underneith 3 others. He can hear people start to scream again. There he remains frozen in fear.
