This is about my home.
A Most Valued Home.

By: Alva Roberts

If I were to lose all physical possessions, except one, then my possession of choice would have to be my house.  Amongst all other possessions my home is what I value the most, because it has everything I will ever need.

I bought my home on the thirtieth of July, in two thousand and one.  My home is not only my most valued material object; it was the highest priced item I have ever bought.

Another reason I value my home is the amount of personal use one receives from a home purchase that is normally taken for granite.  A home is more than just a place to live.  You could live anywhere, in the street, by a dumpster, or in a ditch.  All of these places could be someone’s home.  My home has four walls that protect my family from weather, theft of personal items, and the vision of our ever-changing world.

My home is a split-level building is a cream color with red bricks that surround the bottom level.  Within its four walls are the contents of my life.  To others it may just be another house that has high grass but to me it’s like a large piece of mesmerizing gemstone that glistens and seems to call for me at the end of my workdays.

I can truly say that if I lost everything else, as long as I had my home I think I would be ok.  Amongst all other possessions, my home is what I value the most. It has all I will ever need.
