This was just a way to get a few things off my chest!
Where do I go from here now that I’ve seen what lies ahead?
I become frozen in a state of mind with emotion that is dead

Your face is made of porcelain and your eyes remain so cold
Too bad my touch can’t melt the ice that’s burrowed within your soul

So many things reveal themselves if they’re only given time
You're not able to hide who you really are as things unravel and unwind

I wish you’d stop the lying game that you’ve practiced all too well
Stop covering up your dirty secrets because your conscience is beginning to swell

Soon you’ll be drowning in a sea full of misgivings
When all along I was there trying to bring you to the point of living

I’d like to think that I’m the one who could bring it all to fruition
Silly little me, always trying to cure your condition

How does one live a life without everything their heart requires?
Do I overlook this missing piece from the one who I admire?

Or do I concede and accept my fate as a wife that can’t be traced?
Remaining bound to the man I love that doesn’t possess a face.
