I wrote this one day while I was walking a couple of miles from work to a halfway house.
Sometimes you catch a ride

Sometimes you walk miles

In the fucking snow and rain

Sometimes you find a penny heads up

Sometimes you fine a liquor bottle filled with piss

Sick jokes

  And weird coincidences

Blood stain toilets

Red nicotine stained teeth

Sometimes the sun rise's

Sometimes you can't even open your eyes

Sometimes the sun doesn't rise

And you howl at the moon

            And sleep in barns

Sometimes your dreams come true

Sometimes they don't

        But the more that do

Is just the more you can lose

Sometimes you wake up in a warm bed

    With a warm body

          With warm feelings

              With sky blue azure eyes

Sometimes you wake up on a cold slab bed

      With a cold feeling

            With cold bodies

And cold bars(not the ones you drink in)

        Cold dreams

            Evil eyes

                  Cold evil eyes

  Turn keys and handcuffs

          Cold atmosphere inside cold dreams

                Cold worthlessness feelings

Sometimes it works

But then there's

The random tossing of that goddamn

                      Monkey wrench

Sometimes you believe in a god

You praise a god, you thank a god

Sometimes you don't believe in a god

You despise a god you curse at a god

Sometimes there's a light to see

          Often there's darkness

              Roads unnumbered and uncounted

Mountain passes that lead nowhere, always lead somewhere

Dead ending at destiny
