Dark Emotions

The dark emotions and the things to dispell them.

The dark emotions are powerful
But can cause unwanted change
In the one they dwell in.

Anger becoming a strong rage.
Running through the veins
Following into every cell.
Bring the savage being to life.

Sadness that leads to depression.
Tearing the hearts of any
Wondering its path.

Loneliness being the last dark emotion
The feeling of no one around.
Messing the feeling of someone to hold
And to be with.

To stay in these emotions
Can change one
In ways unknown even to
The one dwelling in them.

In the dark emotions I seem to wait.
For the one thing that my body, heart, and soul
Having longing for since the beginning of life.

The touch of kindness
Warmth of love
And the lasting bond
Of two soul mates
Discovering each other.
