Strength of Love

Love is like a river,
Flowing through our hearts,
It races through landscapes changing,
Yet the river stays the same.

Love is like a mountain,
Towering over all around,
It blocks the sun from sight,
Its beauty is unlimited.

Love is like a tree,
Starting as a seed,
Growing toward the sky,
A shelter from the rain.

Rivers run dry,
Mountains crumble away,
Trees fall over,
Strong as they are they all fade.

Love is like them all,
It too can fade away,
You must hold it tight,
For love is strong but may break away.
