Variations on aerial liquidity.
I. Stream of consciousness

In the open air, vast valleys below, mist.
Distance, naked, rolling. My gaze is
beyond the rat, more than one tree, greater
than a forest. Above, in the blue, without
any surrounding. Head lifts slowly. Leisure
in the morning, that beautiful, sensual, lifting.
Relinquish earth and grass. Buoy above the
water. Liquidity in air. Slipstreams, vertices,
columnar heights. Spread wide, stretching
beyond. Dreams slide ephemeral. Naked, glossy.
A wind, light. Trains rush silently through a night
city, soundless, without brutality. The macro.
Slow blinking, transfixing. Languor. Lights blend
and rush, chasing. Forever. Chasing cars. Snow,
the cold removed. So far removed, beauty out of
blending. Speed, slipping, streaming.

II. Alexandrin

The silence surprises. A quiet like night owls
gliding over empty: distant earth in white light.
There, far below, trains stream, steam trains and electric---
they stream like black liquid. Soundless, with open mouths
made silent by distance. Brutality faded.
The wide sky blue. Wind: light. Languorous rolls through clouds.
Liquidity in air. The rat, the tree, the earth---
blending, so far removed. Snow without cold: dim shrouds
on a misted valley. Columnar heights remove
this flight from surroundings. The macro withdraws crowds.

III. Haiku

Liquid flight above
night trains and wuthering heights.
Winter without cold.
