This was written by me on August 28, 2006.
Crazy blue eyes,
Take me away to somewhere in the distance.
You walked right up and kissed my hand.
The color of dust and dirt was yours,
And a faint smell of Stetson lingered.

Tall and handsome,
We walked hand in hand across the prairie.
Wrapped up in a blanket we gazed at the stars.
On that cold spring evening,
Breaths fogged up that truck's dusty old windows.

Winds came a blowin’ in,
Silently calling your name.
Thundering sound of horses canter,
A trail of dust,
Without a sound.

You rode away to somewhere in the distance.

And with it you took my heart.
