Alright...I feel the need to explain something about my incest rant. I did NOT mean that little children should have the right to decide who they want to have sex with or have a relationship with. Adults make bad decisions. Children make atrocious decisions. And, if you give the child the consenting right then it isn't molestation anymore when a father or mother forces him/her self on the child. And that most certainly is not a society in which I would want children of MINE living in.

A child should never have the right to consent to sex, because they do not understand the consequences and even if they do by some miracle, they need to be protected. If someone forces him or herself on the child, they need to be prosecuted to the fullest extent in my book. A child of three or four can’t consent to anything. And even an older child needs to be protected against predators. It’s becoming an alarming trend lately to have parents or siblings molesting a younger child. Yes, this incest. This is BAD incest. I am not arguing against incest now. I am simply saying that I do not believe that a child should ever have the right to consent and it would never be legal for a child to consent to sexual relations with anyone even IF incest were made legal.

When one thinks of incest nowadays they think of a pedophile father molesting a his little daughter or son. That is not the sort of incest that I am talking about. I’m talking about two consenting adults who should have the right to do what they want, whether it be have sex, have a romantic relationship or, yes, even get married. Just because the social norm is to think that incest is disgusting or disturbing does not mean that EVERYONE should be bound by that. Just like it is no one’s business if a couple of the same sex want to get married or adopt a child. If they are stable, they should be able to adopt, if they are consenting adults and know what they want, then they should be allowed marriage rights. That, however, is a different story.

Also, just because I argue for a point does not mean that I approve of the choice or would like to experiment or dabble in it myself. I simply think that ever ADULT should be allowed to make their own decisions about whom they want to be with, even if that person happens to be the same sex or in the same bloodline, closely or distantly related. I believe in freedom and acceptance. Just because you accept something doesn’t mean you have to participate or agree with it.

That is all, thank you for reading and I’m sorry to make a second rant just to explain this but I didn’t think that anyone would read it if I just posted it up on my profile. At least this way the people that read the first one might read this one.

I shall state this more clearly. Children should NEVER have the right to consent to sex whether it’s with a stranger, a friend or a relative. I am NOT interested in anyone in my family and do not approve of incest myself. But I believe in freedom of choice.
