Her name unknown
Her age not shown
Her stats not said
Her work not read
Her cares not told
But she remains bold
As an anonymous girl
In a very large world

She did so much
Many people she did touch
She helped us all
Go to a run from our crawl
She taught us more
Than we ever asked for
So that we could reach
Those from tundra to beach

Her story touched lives
And from this derives
The things we must tell
To help others from their shell
Her goal was perfect
Our attitudes she worked with
So that we would succeed
In helping all be freed

Her selfless ambition
Only caused the suspicion
Of those who had hard hearts
And cared not for their counterparts
She worked so very hard
But she kept herself at large
I don’t know her nor do you
But she’s been to your work and school

She’s the anonymous girl
Reaching out to the world
From her seat in the back
Or her place on the court or track
She’s brought compassion to light
And shown us what’s right
The least we can do
Is let the anonymous girl shine through





I need you more than ever
And more than you’ll ever know
I need you here beside me
I try not to let it show

I can’t survive without you
Live by your guidance each day
I can travel any path
With you to show me the way

Please never say you’ll leave me
Just please never go too far
I would be shattered; broken
Within an eternal scar

So stay beside me; guide me
Show me a way that is true
I feel so blessed to have you
All I’ll ever need is you


You went off to war,
your intentions very true.
Thr truth of integrity,
lies inside you.

The battle was hard,
the training was rough.
This isn't for weaklings,
you need to be tough.

Then one day during battle,
you were nowhere to be found.
So they got on a boat,
and sailed home to me.

They told me the story,
i dreaded to hear.
About how they searched,
me heart raced with fear.

So the took a plaque,
and put it on the ground.
Hoping that one day,
you would be found.

My heart beat slowed down,
as it was so fast.
For the unknown soldiers,
are home atlast.


Your not the only one with worries,
your not the only one with fears.
We all want things to go away,
we all want to shed a few tears.

Not many people,
see the world as I do.
Many claim it,
but numbers are few.

In my mind all answers are simple,
and everything makes sense.
There is no reason to get into things,
it just makes problems more dense.

I know the one thing,
everyone needs.
I know the one thing,
all hearts plead.

This is one thing,
no one is above.
The answer is easy,
it is simply love.
