sonnet

the end of life

taking the last and final breath
signifying the time of death
covered in blood from head to toe
death, the only voice saying where to go
completing the last and final day
too late to hear what you wanna say
taking the words to where you must be
darkness and pain is all you see
never thaught the day would come
leaving the ones you love with a frown
beaten and torn your heart left to drain
nothing to wash clean, no sign of the rain
completeing it's task, the soul set apart
dieing for what was once right in the heart.
