for the On Our Own Indie-publishing group

Hello! and Welcome to our new members.

This will be a short newsletter, which I guess is fair since it's a short month.

There are only three topics on my mind currently to discuss with the group: resigning membership, sharing info, and the overdue article.

First, we lost a member during the month, and I'm not complaining. I know we are all busy and can't always keep up. I do ask though, if you decide to leave, to please let me know why. Otherwise, I'm left wondering if there was something that could be done within the group that wasn't being done, or if it was not helpful enough and why it wasn't. I'm always open to suggestions to help improve the group.

Also, I think the most helpful part of the group is whatever info we share with each other about the companies we have either used or researched. If we get a good list going in the market listings forum, the overall research will be easier for all of us.

Finally, I have posted the publishing article, but be warned that it is not complete. It is "group only" and I decided to go ahead and put up what I have for those who are beginning to be familiar with the publishing world. Half an article is still more informative than no article. I would appreciate comments, but I'm not concerned about getting ratings. It is meant to be an additional resource for the group.

I hope you're all having a happily creative month! Good luck to those doing March NoWriMo and entering contests. *Thumbsup*
