The Storm of War

This is my second work. I combined two peices into a story. Think of it as a rythmic poem, a march tune almost.

Fast approaching The Storm comes,
The Storm of War comes.
The clouds of death hang over heads, thunderheads without thunder, rainclouds without rain.
The Storm of War comes.

Fast aproaching The Storm comes,
The Storm of War comes.
Men come riding in the land, swords high, lances low, demons with The Storm behind them
The Storm of War comes.

Fast approaching The Storm comes,
The Storm of War comes.
Fire will burn, the people die, all the land torn apart, all the land flattened.
The Storm of War comes.

Fast approaching The Storm nears
The Storm of War comes.
Tents set, banners fly, announcing the storms approach, Men prepare for The Storm.
The Storm of War comes.

Fast approaching The Storm nears,
The Storm of War comes.
Kings map, scouts ride, and generals plan for The Storm, pinning flaps, nailing down.
The Storm of War comes.

It is here, it is here, The Storm is here.
The Storm of War is here.
Screams pierce the air, wailing with sharp cries. The music of clashing swords split the skies.

The Heroes March

The pipers music plays, the drums all beat their tune. The storm of war has passed, The Heroes March through it all.

The wizards call the sun, the ladies pray for the light. The light is late, and The Heroes March by the women and men.
The Heroes March.

The childrens laughter rings, the mothers all smile. The Heroes March in the light with smiling faces and shining in their armor.
The Heroes March.

The kings dinner is served, he smiles on his people. The Heroes March for good kings, serving honor and justice.
