Letting Grandma know I still need her here.

It's that time of year again Grandma. You know "the time of giving". This was your favorite time.I can remember all the family gathering around to eat ,drink, and be merry.
It seems like a time so far gone.Things are sure not like they used to be.Family coming from miles away .The song we used to sing over the river and through the wood's to grandma's house we go.
It used to ring so true.we come near and far.Now we barely talk to each other. The one's that do talk it seem's like they want something.Other wise you don't hear from them at all.Dinner's are no match to what once was.Now eveybody eat's at their own house.
One family can't except the other family members friend's or someone didn't bring someting.Anything to argue.I don't have kid's so it's hard for me at this tome of year.So I depend on my family to share their family with me .
Some how that never works out. It's been so bad lately .I had thanksgiving alone.these are those times that I talk to you alot.I sure wish you were here.I miss going to the aunt's houses.

Getting up early in the morning smelling food cooking like the turkey, ham, bakd beans. Gazing over the cookies we'd made the night befoe. That famous fudge and the vinity candy that we could not wait to eat.

I just want to let you know that I love you and I miss you.I wish everyday that you were still here.At least waited a little longer. For what little time I spent with you .It shows .
P.S. I seen a aluminum christmas tree boy did that bring back a memory,I reember the one you had "silver"you used to pit that color whell in front so it looked like the tree changed colors .
loved it .I love and miss you all through the year.At this time it's hard .I remember and things are so mutch better.
