A girl is in love with a guy and will do anything for his love until she just cant take it
It started when she was only fifteen
When her heart was broken at the newly healed seams

By a boy who lived far away
This is what he said to her one day

He said this is where out relationship ends
Although I hope we can still be good friends

He said, I hope you understand
As he gently pulled away his baby soft hand

There are other guys out there for you
She secretly thought, no there’s only you

The problem is with me not you
His words sounded dear yet so untrue

She knew his reasons were legit
But she really didn’t want to go through this shit

She loved this boy, desperately so
But this boy, this boy just didn’t know

She tried and tried to continue her life as best she could
But it just wasn’t the same no one could help her and nobody would

She wasn’t the prettiest girl
She kept fighting and fighting against the cruel, cruel world

They would make fun of her saying things about which they didn’t have a clue
Such as commenting on how she wasn’t a perfect size two

There just wasn’t a way that would change her mind
It wasn’t clear why nothing mattered not even the people she would leave behind

There was no one not a single person to take her side
She wished she could scrunch up in a ball and hide

On her walk home from school the next day
She decided there was reason for her to stay

She thought about how no one would care if she died
That’s when one word came to mind “suicide”

At first she was scared she didn’t want to do it
But there was no other way she could get through it

That night she left the dinner table, a knife wrapped inside her napkin
Her friends and family unaware of what was about to happen

She walked up the stairs and into the bathroom, she continued to think
As droplets of blood fell into the sink

Her mind let go of everything, not a single thing was left
There all alone she bled to death

Later on her mother came up to investigate
But little did she know, it was already too late

When she stepped in trough the bathroom door
She was shocked to see the amount of blood on the floor

She wondered what happened, from where did it come
She then pulled back the shower curtain and her questioning was done

She was confused to why her little girl did it
It didn’t make sense to her, her daughter’s life she wasn’t in it

And beside the tub she sat there and wept
She heard her husband footsteps on the steps

He came to see what all the fuss was
Like a concerned parent always does

He sat by his wife, a million things racing through his mind
The reason why she did it, they were never to find

At school the next day it was very quiet
It was silent but there was a riot

Her friend claimed it was all his fault
And now she was gone as a result

He shouldn’t have left her alone that night
He just knew if she was alone she wouldn’t be alright

They all miss her, dearly they do
For them it’s a nightmare they wish had come true

They people that ridiculed her now realize
Just how much they can hurt people about commenting on their size

The boy, he wishes he could go back and change what he begun
But there is nothing anyone can do what’s done is done

But no one will ever know the really reason why
She felt the only way out was to die
