Marcophily is the study of post marks, which 'cancel' or 'deface' a stamp to show it has been used. I've taken up this hobby quite recently and it is giving me a lot of joy and learning!  I'm trying to send post marks to members of my family and my friends, to build up their collection(s).
With snail-mail going out of style these days, this has become quite a rare hobby and I hope more people take it up. |
