Once war begins then both sides lose. While my high school football team was named the Spartans, Trojans had the big hollow horse and of course, the best condoms.
The US has looked the other way on illegals for many years. I watched Phoenix Arizona just get absolutely flooded during the sixties, seventies, eighties, nineties. By the time I left in 2000, it was routine to see a hundred Mexicans standing in front of the Home Depot Store waiting for day labor. While I love Mexico, it is not just the twelve million illegals anymore, it is the much larger number of Mexicans who crossed the border illegally, then had a baby, now they are considered legal and just flat bury hospitals and other social services financially.
Mary-Ann rules! I'm sorry, contest/poll over, there is only Mary Ann, the rest is just lost on an island type of nonsense. Wait, what if Survivor did a sort of competing Mary Anns type of episode? Oooooh.
I can make dumb mistakes, but I've also done some pretty cool stuff as well. Perhaps it is experience which has taught me not to respond Yes, 100 percent. Why wasn't there a ninety five percent answer?!
Um,.... shucks, here goes: her name was Mary Lee and it was second year in college and I was nine-teen. The class was serious matter and I went into the field, but I swear, I still think about her. No, I did not succeed, but she was so darn pretty that I had trouble keeping my mind on the class.
Crush? Yes, and no regrets; what a doll! Having a bit of a crush as a youngster is perfectly alright. Yes, there are creepy aspects to such things nowadays(I'm a really old guy) but such things are natural, we feel them whether we write about them or not. My current crush is world travel! I love the world and think it amazingly beautiful. While I may not succeed at this crush either, I assure you, it is worth it.
Um..... I have other remarks; this is the best I could do with the 18/under angle.
ORANGE CRUSH?! No....
CRUSHING GOOD WRITING OR BEER CANS TO RE-CYCLE?!
Take it a step further, and it is not television spy crap, ok? While I learned performance driving ala ambulance, there was a course taught in..... using your car as a weapon.
I'm not kidding, it was taught to body-guard/driver.

PS: The action then would be to take the other car out with yours, jump quickly to their car when the skidding stops, and unload your weapon, make certain they are dead.
Birth versus conditioning; too easy a question. To a dangerous enemy I would say: not me, not you, somewhere in-between us. Imagine this: while US troops took back europe from Germany, this was known to happen: A soldier would light a smoke for a dying fellow soldier, an enemy, then move on.
Does it have a good hook to begin and what is word count? We live in a fast, sound bite sort of world nowadays so is it fresh, something I've never seen before? When I was a kid I swore against critiques, thought only writers with submissions were worthy. Well... I'm no longer a kid and expert critique is something I value.
....are you still reading this and not writing?! No monsters or love story? WHY AREN'T YOU WORKING?!
