This is so, so very beautiful. More probably to myself because I know exactly where you are coming from. I've been here, I am here. I felt like you were speaking from my heart and I think that's what makes your writing so good - you relate to people. You not only write to them, but for them when they, themselves cannot. It's lovely.
What I enjoyed most about this article was how much it made me think, which is great, because that was exactly what you were trying to make me do. I agree with you on one hand of the matter - that absolutely anyone is capable of becoming homeless in the United States. The economy sucks right now and things are really going to the dogs. More and more people lose their homes everyday, I know. I agree. On the other hand, I do not completely agree with your opinion on how the United States is somewhat dense for assisting others countries above our own. If you take a closer look, the United States is actually teaching you a good lesson: That it is good to sometimes put others first. Others that you love, even if they refuse to love you back. In addition, we must be kind to those we do not know, merely for the reason that we do not know them, nor what they, themselves are capable of. We have to protect what we have, even if that means not having the best of things for awhile.
I love it. Your poem is so simple, yet so moving in all the same. Are you the one who is blind? For I can only perceive you having one sensational and phenomenal imagination, if you are not. Everything in this poem is everything I would expect being blind to be. Such magic, such a beautiful isolation. Again, I loved it.
I really, really like this. It shows passion, intriguing passion. I like the light play of originality and personal in each verse, making it known to the reader that this is your work and no one elses. You have something that no one else does in their work. Good job.
Wow. This is utterly beautiful, in the very sense of how horridly heart breaking the girl's story is. I believe that you are a writer who moves people from their seats and onto better things. You are one of those few people who have the potential to change the world. I hope you take that one giant leap from safety and into the unknown, because only the God's could tell you how great you can truly be. It needs to be shown. Please, keep writing.
