I had no idea where the poem was going and was surprised. I like poems that make me think, which this does. I don't think I understand the first verse ("two words"), however. Perhaps my lack of knowledge about theology is the reason; I'm not sure it's any failure on your part! The ending question places some responsibility upon the reader, which I imagine is intended. You have a different kind of talent compared to what I've read so far on this site. Thanks for posting.
Great fun! I'm having a good time picturing who you are. Your poem made me smile, so thanks for that. I forget that poetry doesn't have to be heavy, which much of mine is. I hope you are sharing this with your kids, your grandkids...whoever. I imagine it would be a family treasure.
Really like the unique feel of this. Look forward to seeing other pieces by you. I am new to this forum and looking for the fresh and creative. I doubt I have any real grasp on what you mean, but that isn't what poetry is about for me. It's what it means to me. And I enjoyed it.
