I liked this. However - maybe your votes could be better read if you put the categories together - such as instead of having two of each just take out the double and leave one. Write on!
I have had my dose of psychological help for the morning! Thank you for saving me the $75 for therapy. It was pretty accurate by the way. Thanks for the knowledge! Write on!
This brought me to a sad, dark world. Well done! :) This could be REALLY good - if you go over it a few more times and refine it just a bit. Let me know if you do. I'd love to read it again. Write on!
I liked this. Being 33 - almost 34 myself I can agree with this thought that floats through your mind, "Am I grown-up yet?" I know a woman in her 70's and she still says, "When I grow up...", so perhaps it's all perspective - and it makes you ask the question, do we ever really grow up? Well, when I see Peter Pan I will ask him and let you know.:) Happy New Year! Write on!
Meg - I think you are onto something here. People go to college and get degrees in Music Therapy - so there must be something to it! Best of luck with your experiment.
Amen! Very well written and easy to understand. I finally understand. All this time I thought BITEM was some kind of vampire entry! Thanks a lot. You've opened up a whole new side to Writing.com!
I am currently in line to go on the next Amazing Race - Phil doesn't know it yet- but I am. I like the outline for this. It's kind of like reading the manual for Monopoly. Once you read it, you're hooked on playing the game. Thanks for giving me something I can come back and visit!
Thank you for this. You have written the words that I have needed to hear. The words a daughter needs to hear from her mother. The words my own mother never said. Thank you. It was very real and touching. A very well written piece. Well done.
I thought this poem was well written. Honestly - I think you should turn this into a "greeting card". Imagine if this could be handed over (in card form) to someone who deserved it! Wonderful. You say what we all feel. Thanks. Keep up the great writing!
Oh my goodness. I wouldn't want to eat after that either. I hope upon all hope that this is made up by some wonderful writer who knows how to weave words into one hell of a story. You are a very good writer - clear, concise and by god - to the point. Very well written and even though it was a little grotesque - I did enjoy reading it. So, that being said - keep on writing!
For someone who just started out I have to say that I am impressed at the great effort you've put into your Interactive. It's very well laid out. The directions are clearand to the point. And even someone like me, who hasn't ever played Final Fantasy - only watched it being played - is actually thinking about adding to it! But for now, I think I will stick to the reviewing and let you handle the Interactives! Congrats on such a fine job! Keep on writing!
I really enjoyed reading this. I have often walked on the peir at Coney Island In reading your story, I could almost smell the sea air, the freshly popped popcorn, and hear the rides rumbling in the distance. I have also visited the Aquarium in Coney Island and here too I can "see" what you are talking about. That must have been some storm to witness firsthand! But you were blessed because you were with your family - and the kids were blessed because they were in a Penny Arcade during the whole thing! If you have ever read "The Five People You Meet In Heaven," this sounds a lot like it. Thanks for a good read.Write on!
I absolutely loved this. I laughed out loud on many parts, but the two that are my all-time favorite are when Jesus overturns the tables with the money changers, and the whereabouts of the Ark of the Covenant. This was such an enjoyable read. I think you should look into publishing it in a magazine - one that doesn't frown upon Politcally Incorrect humor of course! Thank you for making me laugh! Keep up the good writing.
Very cute story. I don't ordinarily like "growing" stories, but this one is pretty good. I enjoyed the imagery of the beautiful forest that Harvey was found in - what ever happened with that rock he was found in anyway? I'd like to read more. Keep up the good work!
