Wow. Excellent - vivid descriptions and imagery in a very short piece of work. Evoking strong feelings on a very sensitive subject at he same time - while remembering our shared humanity. Thanks for a good read.

The Sparque,
Okay, your comment on my top ten list sparqued my curiosity and I like to return reviews, so I stopped by your port. (I should mention that before I stopped at your port I went to the fridge to get some milk and I dropped the whole glass quart (I live in the 1930's) on my foot. It shattered and my foot started to bleed and I thought - Bloody damn milk!...then a rat sprinted from cover and began to lap at the milk and bit my bleeding foot so I had to kick the rat (who I had named Joe as a tribute) into my Andrew Dice Clay statuette (it's a clay bust of the famous civil war gambler Andrew Dice) and limp back to my PC with a bleeding foot...all because your piece made me crave dairy...but I digress)...
I saw your start date and one item, no bio block and I thought to myself, new person, wonder if they've ever written anything before...but I steadied myself, determined to finish the piece (it's semi-long) as a return review regardless on how painful it might be!
However...Lo and Behold! It was not painful. It was hilarious. I actually laughed out loud several times - and that doesn't happen often. This is one of the funniest things I've read here in a long time. You have a gift of dry humor, comedic timing and smooth wordplay, all of which I admire greatly. I don't usually write such long comments and I'm stingy with gift points - but this deserved a long note (a parody intended as a tribute) and some decent GPs. I am also making this review public in hopes that others read your piece.
Congratulations and welcome to the site!
And thanks for making me laugh...
I now await more of your writing!
Blue,
Excellent, excellent, Very descriptive and very touching. This would effect anyone with a heart - and if you have a dog (as I do), make you stop and think a little. I will share this one with my wife and daughter.
Thanks for a very good story. Now I'm going to leave work and go home and see my dog. Have a nice evening!
Scott
