This was fun, and it was also amazing to me that I did so poorly. Bright side, I did my first quiz and I couldn't get much worse. From this point on I should only improve. :)
Thanks for the trip down memory lane...even though I didn't recognize or remember much of it. LOL
Good concept. However, although not all marriages, not even most marriages seem to last long, I do believe that they were meant to go the distance. However, it helps if you choose your mate wisely. But I do like the idea and hope to find things of this sort that I can participate in.
I found this piece to be very enjoyable as I found myself walking the book store with you. The smell of books, the stacks of books and shelves that were everywhere. It is like Christmas to a child and you wrote this piece so well, I was there too. The lesson in it is a good one and I don't think I will forget it. Am sure I will look to the bottom shelf. Thanks.
This is a fair but fun question. It makes you think, and while you do, you sort of feel rich in gift points for the moment. Then you realize that it would really be lots of fun to have that many gps to share. Nothing like giving and helping another have a gift that makes them smile. It's God's way. :)
Which leads us to the next point, that people will either rise up in their own time...or like a fool will allow their dreams to pass them by only to wish they were not so hard headed.
But for those that are thankful for that push, they will grow and their calling realized.
Thanks.
I think this poem is quite interesting...what I see, is an older person, a person who has outlived most of his friends who have 'gone to bed'. This person has learned the value of having a relationship with the Lord and knows one day they will join the Lord and those they love. They seek God's face, and as they write their song, they are looking for deliverance from fears, tears, call out to God...as they write in the pages of their book...of life.
That's what your poem says to me.
This is a well written poem.
A poem that speaks to me of change and conflict, but in favor of love.
It is short, and well written. Quite enjoyable. It shows that love will conquer hatred, and be victor. Love will never fail.
Thanks for sharing. it was a good read.
This poem, for me, has much to offer. It is a creative piece and an enjoyable poem.
I enjoyed riding the river and felt the change of awareness. It was interesting, but I found I desired more...and somehow it left me feeling it could be even better.
Interesting poem. It speaks to me of how we feel we can handle our lives. We have it all under control and have all the answers, but as so often happens, it doesn't go how we thought. Next thing we know, we are trying to not have all the walls of our lives crashing in on us. For me, I put my world in the God's Hands, and guess what, in Jesus, it is all I had hoped it would be. :)
This is a wonderfully written piece and I absolutely love it!
With each line penned, I could participate in the event. I totally enjoyed this poem and the trip through time it took me on, for you see, all of us can identify with your words, and each of us can appreciate the reality of your experience. The picture is great, and I knew the read would be wellllllll worth it. Thank you.
I enjoyed this in parts, and in others I was somewhat confused. It has a good base, and I could see the slipping and sliding that was being produced. It was a decent read. Your words well able to relay the goings on in this story. I am glad I took the time to read.
Again, a well-written work that captures the moment, and gives life to the surroundings the person sees. It is vivid and alive, and I definitely enjoy your style of writing.
The picture is a good picture, but it doesn't extend the visual of the poem.
This is an extraordinary well written poem that I really enjoyed. The determination and drive in this person is encouraging. Still, I find I want to encourage this person against negatively feeling they will never have more than enough, for to me, that shows a loss of hope. In any case, this poem is wonderful and the picture could not be more perfect!
This is a well written story. I could feel the struggle that Mae experienced in her effort to give the box of chocolates to the person she had them for...and I was shocked it was not for a boy, but Delcine. I would have reacted like Delcine and pulled away definitely, however, I also agreed with Delcine in her attempt to save the friendship.
First, whenever I read or see daffodils, I remember my grandfather who could still recite a poem about daffodils he learned in fourth grade when he was eighty...and he said it with such enthusiasm that he was entertaining, God love him. So reading your little poem gave me a peaceful feeling, and the 'quiet blooming' lulled me back to grandpa and his poem. It was a pleasant experience from a tiny poem. Thank you.
I like this...it truly wets the appetite and I'd like to know more.
Plus, I am a lover of settings from the good old days based on good old values.
It is very enjoyable and I hope you are going to do a story for it to fit into. I think it has a lot to offer. :)
The words of this poem are felt and understood as though you too were experiencing the transformation. It is beautifully written, and when the Good Shepherd appears, you too, can feel the excitement, and the peace of His arrival, and rejoice! This is well written and obviously well deserves the various competitions it has won.
