Another really nice piece....I read in your bio that you are a bass player, I think that this poem you have written has great lyric potential for a song. I am a bass player and drummer and look for things like that. If you have the time, try a standard bass line with a 1/2 to 1/4 count and try to make the first two or three stanza's work into the beat. You'd be suprised at how easy it can be if you work a little on it! I started my writing later in life-im 45-although I had the potential as you obviuosly do but never applied myself when I was out of High School. So good luck and keep up the good work! You have the gift! It shines in your writing!!!
