Cute and sweet. Reminds me of fairy tales from the past.
I am glad the author put in the epilogue because I was a little confused about why suddenly there was a grave.
So, finished reading. Even the Chapter Two: Supply Lines.
Honestly, I liked it.
I kept getting confused with all the people being named (maybe try not naming the un-important characters) but that's no biggy.
This story has a lot of potential. I'm personally not a big fan of main heroes (whether they be male or female) that are 'goody-two-shoes' like the duchess seems to be for the most part. I like people that are on the good side of the law but can also handle a bit of blood and hold their own in a fight without needing a handful of people to come and save them. But, being someone like that seems to work for her (I don't know if that's what you were going for or not).
One thing is that I think the story is going a bit to fast. It both reads fast, which can get confusing at times, but also the story lines seems to be blazing. I normally like a bit more detail and less talking; I like it when the storyline and description and details explains what's happening and not really hearing it come from the characters. But that is my personal choice.
All in all I think the story is good. I really am interested in reading more of it.
I like where it's heading and think that there's a lot you can do with it.
I know that the duke left her in the dark. But to purposely lie to her and keep their son in harms way...that doesn't seem normal. I'm just confused and worried as to why she's been so out of the loop with everything/everyone.
It seems like, although she's been living the dream, that maybe her happy, prefect life (before the blight) is maybe not as good as it seems. That's just my personal insight.
I'm excited to read more.
Oh. I like this very much. There's much depth and yet not too much. I haven't read your previous works but I'm sure as I read more into this, my questions will be answered.
The chapter isn't to long or to short. it's just the right length and makes me eager to get to the next chapter.
Seeing as her healing gift only helps people (I think) and not the plants, I'm wondering if the blight was made specifically for her?
Anyway, I can't wait to read more of this.
I liked this.
I'm not to fond of the writing style (I normally like more details and information) but it seemed to work for this. The story line flowed really nicely and I'm curious as to what will happen to Truman and his brother.
I think this story has potential. It's needs a bit of polish but I like it. Keep up the good work.
This is interesting. There's a few grammatical errors but nothing so serious as to take away from the story. This has a lot of potential. I like where it's going and I think it could go far. Very well done and I hope you continue on with this.
Good job. =)
This sounds like a pretty interesting fruit. I've personally never heard of it but now that I have I'm interested in trying it (I'm hoping it's a real fruit).
I think you managed to catch the fruit's scent, taste, appearance, and likeness nicely without making it a boring read.
Good job.
I like this very much. It reminds me of my childhood. I lived for a year at the ocean and then every year afterwards went back for a vacation. Very well done. Love the memories it brings back.
I liked this. Very, very much. There was a part of two where punctuation was an issue to try and read around but it didn't take away from the story. I'd like to learn about this letter. Why the character is saddened (angered? defeated?) by its contents. I would love to read more about this.
I like your writing method. There's detail but it's not to the point of being over whelming. The story runs smoothly.
Keep up the good work. =)
I am in love with this. This poem is full of raw emotion. As I read I can see this play out in my head.
It brings back memories of a forbidden romance - one that never would've worked out but one that I clung onto.
Thank you for writing this beautiful poem. Keep writing. This is wonderful.
