wow that was very well said. That last part gave me a chill because in my life that is exactly how I feel. Ive become my shadow and my shadow has become me.
"Thoughts put into words
Conveying feelings with a rhyme."
I really enjoy this part here. The emotions we all feel deep inside are sometimes beyond the words we know in our mind, so we are unable to convey our feelings to others when our thoughts do not find the words. We are fortunate to have artists of language in this world, who can manifest before us not just the thoughts in our minds, but the emotions in the hearts of countelss.
"Letter by letter, word by word
Revealing a lifetime."
Here you begin that process, placing pen/pencil to paper life a brush to canvas.
Thank you for sharing this, it has inspired me to put down the words i've just written.
Something we can all take note of. Like totaling up on the dollars and cents we waste on things we dont necessarily need, and what things we could have done instead with those dollars and cents, Each day every day, the clock of our life ticks away, with each passing second , each minute, each hour..how much of our life did that ticking clock devour? We never know when the second hand of our life will stop, we need to make use of every moment of life. thank you for writing this piece Princess Zelda. How many time has that clock gone round and round in our life? Actually how much time of that clocks cycle did we waste, and not experience life?
I enjoyed reading this very much. Especially the "what was then is now." God is past, present and future existing all at once. Though we are all created in God's image, so to is all of creation. The Book of Genesis is a testament to the possibilities of what words and imagination can produce. I can imagine that God is indeed a radiant warming light, brighter than the sun whose warmth, his love, is without conditions. God's love shines upon us all, like the light from the sun shines down upon us all, equally and without condition to good or bad of our ways, it still shines down on us.
