Seems to be in the perspective of somebody ogling their idol, if I'm wrong please feel free to let me know, but this was a lighthearted and very nicely done poem.
This is just a simple and short poem that people read when they feel down in the dumps. It gives them inspiring and thought provoking words that really put our own situation into context.
Is my situation that bad? Or am I just being a baby?
A feel good poem to read when that you or someone you know can read when they are down, I like it.
Besides the already humorous poem there is a certain ironic message the author is conveying---maybe. Either that or they just really like lobster.
The poems words slide of my tongue fairly easy making this not over-grammatic. But although it is simple it was fun to read.
From my perspective this poem seems to be about love bursting suddenly, and if that is what the author intended then---they got me feeling it. But if it isn't, then my bad.
The color schemes used for alternating stanzas is clever and I will tip my hat since this tactic seems to physiologically and subcounsciously make us feel more engaged by the poem. I could feel the seasons changing, obvious not literally but my imagination sure saw leaves falling.
Although the poem to me seems kind of bland, not in a boring way but as there was interesting words, there wasn't any clever and illiterate wordplay. I'd say since this is a poem take advantage of this. But nevertheless this poem cought both my eyes and my senses.
