Ooooh, this one was painful to read. I used to smoke cigarettes, and I could never imagine feeling pain like that from the loss of a child due to one's own carelessness. I applaud the author for reminding us about how horrible cigarettes are, and how scary it is knowing that just one match in the hands of a child could be a death sentence. The author of this piece writes very deep poems that touch the reader in places that are probably not touched often enough.
Warm regards,

Oh, how this piece moved me, and I am not a parent. I have never had any experience with a missing child; I can't imagine something so dreadful taking place in the world of innocence, and I try never to think about it. Sadly, this piece reminded me how cruel the human animal can be. I couldn't rate this any higher, and I would never find fault for bringing something so bold and heart-wrenching to the writer's table. Bravo to the author of this deep, dark piece. You moved this reader to tears...

Having worked in the medical profession I can honestly say that if you can euthanize an animal without question, then human euthanasia should also be offered as a legal alternative to human suffering, medically speaking of course! Dr. Kevorkian certainly would enjoy reading this; is he still in jail for doing his part?
Well done; I hope you never have to witness or endure the pain and suffering from a terminal illness.

Having worked in the health care industry for over 18 years, I can honestly tell you that I can count on one hand how many people I have dealt with who either had dementia or Alzheimer's. Once diagnosed, these people usually end up in residence programs or nursing homes, and have very limited access to the world outside of those facilities. I think that people have stereotyped these diseases, and because of such beliefs, we become afraid of the Alzheimers or dementia, and probably end up avoiding those who are diagnosed because of our fears. I hope this newsletter helps people become more aware that these patients need and deserve human contact, especially with their family members. Thank you for writing this newsletter and bringing to writing.com for others to read.

Your poem moved me to tears; I can't believe I actually got misty-eyed reading this!!! If you think I rated this too high, then I appologize, but this truly is a well-crafted piece of literary work. I have hardly ever read poetry that I had enjoyed thoroughly, and this is one of those rare pieces that gave me hope that maybe one day soon I will be able to say that I honestly do enjoy it!
Please keep up the great work; I really your work.
Your poetry is very moving; it is fluid, it is easy to read, it has rhythm, and it makes the reader think and feel. I hope you appreciate your work as much as this reader does.
This truly is a beautiful poem. The spirit of your friend is a great source of inspiration, and your work reflects the depth of your emotion. I enjoy your work.
