Very exotic and interesting. I really DO like it although the title steered my initial interpretation to other directions. Keep up the great work and WRITE ON, Meagan...you're gonna be a STAR!!
Hi, Silver Moon,
This is an extraordinary piece and I enjoyed it immensely. The tone of it is simply enthralling. I can relate to the imagery. It is very nice. You have a talent to portray thoughts vividly and you should continue to WRITE ON.
Again, I enjoyed your writing very much!
Luv,
Alex
Hi, John Quixote,
A very nice tribute to those who lived and died for our freedom and democracy. I have never understood the need for war but I'm not the sharpest knife in the drawer so maybe I've missed something along the way. Yet, those who took on the battle willingly and believing are DESTINED to receive our gratitude.
Wonderfully written!
Take care and Write On!! You will do well!
Luv,
Alex
Hi, Layla !
This is very, very good and I enjoyed it better than any I've read. EVERYONE can relate to your thoughts and you have revealed them beautifully. I really do like this.
Thanks for that peek into the hearts of mankind. Live and Learn...and WRITE ON!!
Great work!!
Luv,
Alex
Hi, ashtoreth argent !
'Wonderfully written poetry. 'Beautiful and deep within the spirit! I like it.
'Reminds me of times past. (Thank God!!)
You do have a couple of corrections I'd suggest: "has been" should be "have been" and the typo on "enough". Except for those terribly minor errors...SUPERB!!
Keep up the great work and PLEASE...Write ON!!
Luv,
Alex
Hi, Somebody!!!
Seeing our true selves in the mirror??? Scary!!...and you have captured it nicely. Seeing ourselves emerge from deep within is exactly like something emerging out of a dark abyss and most of us never search for our total potentials...because sometimes it IS a beast!!
I like!!! Keep it up and WRITE ON!!
Luv,
Alex
Extremely vivid!! Your writing talent has the most wonderful imagery and I can easily visualize the scene. This is nice and I would love to read the story in its entirety.
Keep up the grand work. I will add you to my favorite authors and follow your extraordinary talents.
Luv,
Alex
I agree. I dislike the cold and a little hot air (from other than local politicians) could make ME smile! I like the humerous tone you take on a relatively serious subject. We all could lighten up a little and enjoy the ride! Your writing is a fresh stress-reliever! Great work!
Luv,
Alex
Hi, Ash!
My favorite part is : "And from those dark tears, Rises a new me- More fragile and small But whole at least Because the living never stay broken". Life and time are good medicine and where there is life there is hope and a future. I like your poem. The heartfelt sadness is evident but there is also an undertone of healing and growth. That is what I like...growth... from out of the ashes!!
Good work! Keep it up!
Luv,
Alex
Such heartfelt agony and sadness in the loss...and the guilt! You portrayed this excellently! Sometimes we feel we do the things that NEED to be done but somehow they turn out differently than planned. Wonderful recap of the emotions you felt. I like!
Write on...and stay strong!
Luv,
Alex
Extremely boisterous writing! I like it. It sort of sounds like a rap song! Exciting wording although I really don't know what "emo" and "goth" mean. (I'm headed to Dictionary.com now) I like it!!
Keep it up. Good work...and WRITE ON, Paulina!
Luv,
Alex
I AM an owner and wearer of those rose-colored glasses and I can relate to the superficial views they provide. This is an exceptionally insightful writing. You point out the pros and cons of not looking beneath the surface: all true! Yet, I wear my faithfully!
Great work!! Write on! I want MORE!!
Luv,
Alex
I believe no one religion or group of people can be trusted with 100 percent of the truth. Talking about "abuse of power"!! I personally feel that ALL "religions" or beliefs have their own piece of the puzzle that constructs absolute truth which is to be revealed in due time.
This is the very first writing on the belief of paganism and it is intersting that you share the same conflicts of "freedom" in this country that all DIFFERENT people suffer. All I can say is "welcome to the club"!
I enjoyed this rare subject VERY much! Good writing!Take care and WRITE ON!
Families are funny and yours is no exception. I know my grandmother use to say the most hilarious things and think nothing of it. We still repeat them to this very day. I'm excited to read more of your family funnies. Add more from time to time. I'll be waiting!
Write On!!
Luv,
Alex
I am impressed with the wonderful style and you did a fabulous job! The rhyme is good and you kept the idea flowing nicely. Great work!...and I DO love whales. They are so mysteriously beautiful...and I, too, dream about them when I get a chance!
Nice...I like!
Luv,
Alex
Luke is a very lucky guy to hold the heart of someone so talented! I like the way you depict the distractions of love. Keeping focused on life when you're in love is difficult!...just makes you go "ga-ga"!!
I like!
Keep up the uplifting writing!
Luv,
Alex
I like the way you compared the two without offending. Your facts, as usual, are well-stated and, indeed spiritualism and materialism DO go hand-in-hand but very seldom are they used together for the good.
I invite you to read "Taken for Granted" in my portfolio. I love your writings because it seems as if WE are on the same page! (smiles)
Take care and WRITE ON! I'm still keeping my eyes on your wonderful writings!
Luv,
Alex
I'm going to relay this poem to my husband. It says exactly what I'd like to about my feelings for my best friend! This is nice...and gentle...and touching.
You have a great talent for depicting the emotions.
I like this and encourage you to WRITE ON!
Luv,
Alex
I like these ponderings and reflective thoughts about life and the acceptance of the good and the bad which adds the flavor to living! All things come with a price..either paid in or paid out!..and that's good!
I really like your discoveries. They touch close to home!
Keep up the insighful work. I enjoyed reading it!
Luv,
Alex
Wonderfully written and vivid in the description of a lost love. Been there...done that! I can feel the sadness and despiration of losing the love of someone loved so much. Sad but this is life and you portrayed it nicely.
Keep up the great heartfelt writings!
Luv,
Alex
This is good...and I like the drama! The agony of being helpless (his) and the inability to control one's actions (hers) is very real and strikes a cord in us all I'm sure. 'Brings back memories for me. Nicely written and vivid.
Keep us the nice work and Write On!
Luv,
Alex
I like!!!It depicts finding strength in the storms of life...in spite of the storms in life...as we let go of today and forge ahead into tomorrow. You laid this out very well and I enjoyed reading it. The imagery is nice. You write well and keep up the grand work!!
Write on!
Luv,
Alex
Wow! I have never seen a spilled trash can's descent to the ground described so masterfully. This is compelling and I really did enjoy reading it...and the ending is SO mysterious! You're on to something fantastic! Keep up the grand work. Very, very good!
Take care...and PLEASE...WRITE ON!!
Luv,
Alex
Nice imagery and beautiful verse. 'Describes a kiss vividly and relays the feeling of the moment. Except for the mispelling of "abyss" it is perfect. I really do like it and look forward to reading more of your poetry.
Keep up the great work...and write on, Shaded!
Luv,
Alex
I really do like your insight on living. There are so many aspects of life that define it: education, experiences, influences and much more. You seem to realize that learning NEVER ceases and that ALL things are a lesson! BRAVO!! This is excellent.
Keep up the great work...and WRITE ON!!
Luv,
Alex
