| I'm a published poet, still making my way toward 'published novelist' status. I have multiple stories in the making. I pride myself on imagery and being able to make a reader feel the emotions of the characters. I've been writing seriously since age ten, thanks to a teacher who dragged me kicking and screaming into the world of poetry. I finally gave in and wrote an acrostic, and I loved it. Ever since then, I've written anything and everything. Except Haiku... Still can't seem to do that. |
| I write anything I feel like telling a story about. I'm notorious for killing and dramatic, character-scarring events. |
| Keep the reader engaged. If the story starts to slack, kill somebody important to the plot and screw it all up for everyone! |
| Fantasy, romance, dark humor, paranormal, and adventure are things that draw my attention immediately. Anything that combines the five goes straight into influencing my growth as a writer. Things like Harry Potter, His Dark Materials Trilogy, and on. |
