About Me
I'm a wife, mother, and Corporate Controller, aka., Glorified Babysitter and Bean Counter Extraordinaire! *BigSmile* Though I've done a significant amount of non-fiction writing in University and business, fiction is something I didn't try until about 3 years ago. I love it, but it's just a hobby for the pure pleasure of it, and not something I'd venture to do professionally. That said, I do want to learn how to write better and this is the main reason I decided to join WDC. *Smile*

I'm not sure if I have a type, except to say I lean towards unfinished chapters scattered amidst bad poetry. *BigSmile*
Writing Style
My writing style is as yet undefined, and I'm enjoying this discovery process where I get to wear as many hats as I choose.
Interests
My interests are quite varied and include, writing, cooking, research, travel, gardening, reading, quilting, and listening to music. Oh, I have to add blogging! Even though my blog is sorely lacking at the moment, it's fun to have when the mood hits.
Favorite Genres
Science Fiction, Fantasy, Romance, True Crime, and Suspense.

Favorite Music
Pretty much anything classical, 80's pop and heavy metal for the memories, classic rock for the greatness. Right now I'm loving The Piano Guys, and a local band called The Heavy Hands.
Favorite Movies
Schindler's List, Jean Cocteau's La Belle et la Bête, John Boorman's Excalibur, Alien/Aliens, Star Wars, Star Trek, Stargate, Band of Brothers, The Abyss, and Raiders of the Lost Ark to name a few.
Favorite Shows
Years ago it was classics such as Murphy Brown, Cheers, and the Golden Girls. I rarely watch TV anymore, but when I do it's for The Big Bang Theory. *BigSmile*
