Summary of this Book...
This is a book about the disappearance of Natalee Holloway in Aruba. It is written by her dad. Natalee disappeared in 2005 and has never been found.
This type of Book is good for...
anyone who is interested in the case or anyone who might be considering allowing their high school age child to visit Aruba.
I especially liked...
the way Mr. Holloway tells his story. He is eminently fair and this comes from the heart of a father who has done everything possible to find his beloved daughter.
I didn't like...
Aruba or the corruption there. It seems that all you need is a big shot father and you can hide anything.
When I finished reading this Book I wanted to...
pray for the family of Natalee Holloway as I have since 2005.
This Book made me feel...
angry about the corruption and dishonesty at the highest levels in Aruba. If someone gave me an all expenses paid trip I wouldn't go there. Never in a million years.
The author of this Book...
has a lot of courage and faith.
I recommend this Book because...
it is a story that needs to be read so that Americans don't forget how Natalee was treated by the so called justice system in Aruba. I wouldn't go to the Netherlands either because of this book and the way they all coddled and protected the animals that perpetrated Natalee's disappearance.
Further Comments...
This story is one I connect to. During the same weekend that Natalee disappeared (Memorial Day 2005) my mom had her first visit to the Emergency Room in what was to be a summer of hell for my mom. I could empathize with anyone who was hurting at that time and anyone treated so shabbily by those in authority.

Now it is five years on and I still think of the Holloways and pray to St. Anthony that somehow something of Natalee will be found someday so that they may have some bit of peace.

Remembering how I was at that young age, I know I would have had a similar fate if I had traveled to Aruba and met up with that lot that took Natalee into the night. I hope they find a justice waiting for them someday, but in this life they never will.
