In the far future, Stellar Date 772, college student Fayt Leingod is vacationing on the planet Hyda IV with his parents and friend, Sophia Esteed. Unfortunately, a hostile nation has decided to attack, ruining the vacation and separating Fayt from family and friend, with the end result of stranding him on an under-developed planet.

So starts the adventure, taking place four hundred years after Star Ocean 2. Throughout the story, Fayt travels to new worlds, meets new friends, and goes about saving the world in a new way.

This is a great game for any RPG fan out there! Both teens and adults should love this endearing game.

This game has an innovative battle style, an original Item Creation system, and extras galore! Recruit specialized inventors, play secret dungeons, get two of four optional characters, and watch the many different endings!

Fayt can be a bit annoying with his "I have to help everyone" attitude. Fortunately, the other characters help to balance things out, and a bit later in the game it's not an issue.

Is the same that does the well-know Final Fantasy series. How can you not love them?

This is the third (or, for the Japanese, fourth) game in the great Star Ocean series. These characters have a story to tell, and it's a joy to follow them and watch it unfold. I had a lot of fun with this game, and highly recommend it to others.
