I've been writing for a long time, but mostly in expository form. My mother was a regular poet, and since her passing my creative energy has flowed to poetry, fiction and continued expository writing. By profession I am a counselor, and blog regularly now at counselingwtx.net. I write poetry almost daily, and work on expository and fictional writing regularly. Most of my non-writing time is spent raising a couple of boys, counseling kids and adults, and working on my fitness. I live in Permian Basin oil country, but originated from the Kansas.
