Doris' Biography
Doris was born and raised in Uganda and has been performing since she was a child. She is a performing artist and a beginning writer. She wrote the play, 'Sheilds and Shells' about the civil wars of Uganda seen through the eyes of children.
She won a choreography award for a dance presented at the Kenyan International Music festival, and also won an original music instrumental award at the same 1987 festival. She lives in Laurel MD. She is also a performing arts teacher at the Tabernacle Learning Academy, Laurel MD. Doris has a degree in Literature and the Performing Arts.
