When I wonder who I am and why.

WHO IS THIS CREATURE GOD MADE?
September 24, 1990

Who is this creature God made?
Who is one such as I?
What are the many facets
that I've yet to descry?
Sticks for arms? A rock, my knee?
Formed of sea, sun, and sky?
Shed the paltry shell of me
and what's left by-and-by?
A fool for all I stand for?
The things for which I'd die?
Why is this creature God made?
Why is one such as I?
To what purpose do I owe
the privilege to seek why?
