A poem that has a rhythm of its own.
Swift spead the shadows
Of fear and regret
Long I have prayed
To join you in death
None but the echoes
Attend to my prayers
The silence betrays all the
Tears I have wept

I've slain in the midnight
What faith I possessed
By asking the questions
Forbidden to men
Speak to me! Answer me!
Heed to my prayers!
The darkness fulfilling
The place you once kept

Over and over
I cry for redemption
So piercing, condemning
These words left unspoken
What have I done
To deserve my damnation?
My eyes slowly closing
The silence my answer

Heart never beating,
Eyes never seeing.
One thats been broken
Will not be again...
