Barriers is the result of an experiment in overblown descriptionary writing. Then it got a life of its own. Check it out, see what you make of it. I like it, so trust me.
Harry Truman is my favorite poem about my favorite slug. A parody of sorts, but also allegorical to all kinds of heady artsy stuff, if you're into that sort of thing. Plus, it is ONE HUNDRED PERCENT TRUTH, and can be taken at face value.
The Best Part of Waking Up is an old poem I wrote. It represents one of the major causes I have taken up in life, the annihalation of that most hideous of substances: coffee. I know that doing so I forfeit my life, and if I am the first up against the wall when the revolution comes, SO BE IT. Seriously, it is not meant to be serious, just enjoy.
Finally, I must leave some room for my most famous of poems. One writing.com member, (unnamed here for his protection. or her. I assure you that it is not me though) really enjoyed this poem, proclaiming it "THE GREATEST POEM OF ALL TIME." Due to certain item content restrictions, the poem itself could not be its own item. Therefore, I am including it in this folder itself, a kind of testament to the greatness that most poets can only ASPIRE TO. Here follows, unedited and untitled, the greatest poem of all time:
me thinks
he stinks
I'll give you some time to take that all in. I know, it hits hard, that kind of beauty. And yes, you are very welcome.
Please check out the other, real poems and junk I have below. Thanks for visiting!
