this poem was writen for . NO on second thought she knows who she is
Once I saw you from across the room,
You did not recognize the face,
The smoke hid the tears
and laughter disquised the pain,
your smile painted on by mary kay
and your shallow heart decides your fate.

I wanted to ask you was it worth the time?
seven years stolen to ease your fear,
promises broken to ease your mind,
How many more lies will you tell,
how many more hearts will you steal?

I watched you from across the room and realized,
time had worn you down,
The woman I once loved was nothing more than a clown,
Hideing behind makeup to deicieve the truth,
only to realize it was deicieving you,
Your soul has become more plastic
than the promises you once made
or all the vowes you take.

I watched you as I turned to leave ,
I thought I saw a hint of familiarity in your
eyes, or maybe it was regret,
I did not approach for I see you for what you really are, and I ask myself how could I ever have cared.
