Past Prompts

These are the prompts that I have already used in my Writers block forum. You may use any that interset you but I ask that you link it to my forum so other can be inspired to write.
First week

1) The sound of rattles made her stop. She knew if she moved the slightest bit it would be a big price to pay. Then she started to worry about the jagged cliff and the twenty foot drop to the ground. Her hands began to hurt but she had to hold on, but for how long?

2) A train, A lost soul, a wondering stranger. Write a scary ghost story, with a twist at the end that is funny and makes you smile.

3) Five friends, Two strangers, Murder, white water rafting trip. Write a chilling thriller full of suspense!

4) A hen, a Fox, an a farmer walking along a long dusty road. Write a funny childs' story.

5)A star, a child's wish, Write about a child that wishes for a family. Make it a very happy tear pulling tale.

6) Two boys brake into an old lady's house, but what they find is a ghost of an old lady. Tell a story of how this lady is flesh and bone by day but a ghost by night. Make it a chilling story!!

7) Flowers, a wedding cake, Happiness, Disaster, Anger. Write a story of a perfect wedding then disaster strikes. Make it a funny story, then have it turn to some thing else.

Second week

1) A cold morning, and a spilled cup of coffee. Write a thriller, full of suspence and fear.

2) "For Grandma with love." a special gift. Write a story about a gift a young child gives to its grandmother.

3) A Prom date from hell. A fast pace story that has a few twists in the plot, with a few differant emotions that conflict each other. Like maybe the girl is laughing when her date gets his head loped off or something bizar like that.

4)"No..You can't do that." Her face filled with horror as the switch was flipped and the doors were opened."You have just coast us all our lives, now we are all doomed." (Any thing goes on this, what every you think of with this line in the story some where.)

5)A cold winters night and a moon as red as blood,(Write a story about vampires and werewolves.)

6) The day earth stopped spinning.

7)A letter from home. (Write a story about a soldier that gets a letter from home.) Make it a sweet love story that tugs at the heart.
